He started working with his father — celebrity contractor Mike Holmes—when he was just 14 years old on the set of Holmes on Homes®. For 11+ years viewers watched Mike Jr. grow up as he helped his father on some of his most ambitious builds and projects, including Holmes in New Orleans, Mike’s Ultimate Garage and HOME FREE on FOX. Today MJ focuses on a holistic approach to proper home building that supports healthy living and stars in the newest edition of the Holmes series franchise, Holmes + Holmes, where he and his dad transform his modest bachelor bungalow into a two-storey masterpiece.

Danielle Nicholas Bryk is a self made Renaissance woman. Blessed with an incredible sense of style and a keen intelligence, she is equally comfortable in the domestic realm and on the construction site, having transformed numerous homes all while navigating the minefield that is the modern family. 

Danielle studied at Queen's University before taking her design studies to Parsons New School in N.Y.C. After having her house featured as one of 2012's best homes in House and Home magazine and completing her first television show, Family Under Construction for the DIY Network, Danielle was thrilled to launch a new show, Bryk House on HGTV Canada. Danielle returned to HGTV Canada with a 2-episode special, Flip Addict, which followed her through a renovation flip nightmare to transform a neglected home into a buyer's dream.

Danielle continues to approach each design challenge with common sense, creativity and a budget-friendly outlook, all while finding some magic in the chaos of life as a business owner, designer and mom.

Gary Sharp became the CHBA’s first Director, Renovator Services in June, 2015.  Gary is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.  He is responsible for the National Canadian Renovators Council.  Gary manages the writing and production of CHBA’s National Best Selling Builders’ Manual.  Gary has been involved in the construction and renovation industry for over 25 years, providing building services, engineering, builder training, new product development as well as sales and marketing advice to both private industry and government.
